Senior Citizens & Divyangjan Ayodhya Guide: Free Wheelchairs, Golf Carts & Doli Rates

Planning a pilgrimage for elderly parents or differently-abled family members requires special care. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and local authorities provide dedicated accessibility infrastructure across the temple corridor.

1. Free Battery-Operated Golf Carts: Available at Tedhi Bazaar parking, Ayodhya Dham Railway Station exit, and Naya Ghat shuttle points to carry seniors (65+) directly to Ram Path.
2. PFC Free Wheelchairs: Over 100 free wheelchairs are available at the Pilgrim Facilitation Centre (PFC) near Gate 1. Volunteers assist senior citizens throughout the covered mandapa walkway.

Hanuman Garhi requires climbing 76 wide stone steps. For elderly pilgrims unable to climb:

• Registered Doli Service: Standard rate is ₹300 – ₹500 for a round-trip carrying service.
• Priority Line Access: Seniors are escorted through a designated fast-track lane at the top of the temple stairs.
